My mom is so ignorant honestly and maybe it was just because things were different when she was growing up but try and get with the times it's not that difficult.she says that an old friend is "too young to know she's bi or whatever she is 🙄"  no she's not you can figure it out whenever.I'm not out as aroace and now i don't think i ever will be.it made me feel so terrible.sometimes she seems fine with lgbtq+ things and then she says crap like this I'm tired of it.it's 2022 things have changed and will keep changing so either accept it or keep your stupid opinions to yourself because nobody wants to hear it.everyone is valid and everyone's identity is valid whenever you figure it out.some people just can't wrap their heads around these things.

I find that describing how you feel without calling yourself aromantic asexual might help. But people will probably still react with "you're too young to know". I'm 19, and I still get reactions like that.
