roboticanary
So there are threads here for books with aro characters, that sort of thing. But one thing I haven't seen which I think would be interesting is books which are not aro but are interesting or useful to read from an aro perspective. So for example Minimizing Marriage, by Elizabeth Brake. Not an aro book in itself but she is the person who defined the idea of amatonormativity and this book really sets out a lot of the basis of that. One I am currently reading is Solitude by Anthony Storr. Again, not an aro book but it presents a challenge to the idealisation of personal relationships as the measure of life. So are there any books that you think are of interest when considering aromanticism?
