However, you can still identify however and it doesn't mean you weren't that identity at some point. It shouldn't be used as an excuse to invalidate you, however. If you identify as aro/ace then you are aro/ace. The brain, along with it's preferences can, theoretically, always change. These kinds of preferences are probably less likely to change though. As for falling in love, I think aro people kinda have their own version of that. Things might feel different for you, but I think you could still fall in love & get married as an aro person.
