As an aro who doesn’t feel romantic attraction, I can’t really help you there, but when it comes down to it do you want a platonic relationship with this friend, which can really be just as important? Or do you want a romantic one? At least that’s what helped me.

Same! I wish QPRs were more normalized though, so it wouldn’t be such a big deal or journey to realize you want one.

If I’m being honest with you, I HATE banana bread, but I can very much use it to score extra points with my family.
Ok whoever’s next can have a cat. He is not a friendly cat.

Honestly I think younger kids doing art should have several classes dedicated to cleaning up after themselves lmao (especially with something like ceramics) because hoooly shit they make such a huge mess and some don't even clean the paintbrushes 😰 One time I found one in the sink but the bristles had all compressed from the sheer amount of black paint in it that had dried and it was basically solid rock. Me and a teacher tried everything but it was basically destroyed.
You’re so right!
I can’t really make fun of it though, I’m basically the same sometimes (except for the brushes, that sounds like a nightmare. Like actually a nightmare that I have or will have)

Sorry, I completely misread the topic.
I find that pretty often I see people claim that it is more important to have homosexual media representation than aro or ace representation. I think this is mostly because, again, we are often not seen as fully LGBTQ+, so representing us is viewed as less important.

Anyone else think they’re sex indifferent because they’re like 14 but could be sex repulsed for all they know?
Also, I don’t know about anyone else, but being ace was what let me realize that I’m aro.

I don’t identify myself very strongly as being neurodivergent, but I have OCD and probably incredibly minor ADHD

You do. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication and the surgeon removes your whole top half. Fortunately, they save the correct half and you become a modern day Darth Maul.
I wish it was cold and bitterly windy with LOTS if snow

Q: And how do you know that?
A: Eating dinner alone, happily

It’s a bit different, but here’s a funny yet informational asexuality meme I intend to show/text anyone aphobic.

Soooo I figured out I’m aroace! Yayyy! My childhood (haha funny term to use for it lasting until I was 13) “crush” was probably just a squish and to be honest I don’t really care what it was because aro describes me perfectly! And being ace was always a definite so problem solved! Movie over! Plot line ended! Yay!
Only… no. Nononono. That’s not how this is going, now is it?!? Because I still feel very very lonely! I mean, sometimes I can feel this beautifully overwhelming platonic love for my friends, and it just makes me so happy, but then I get sad again. Sometimes I even think I want a romantic relationship with my old maybe-squish, or maybe just kiss him once, just to know if I’m really aro or if I really want a romantic relationship or whatever, but I know I’m romance repulsed and I would feel disgusted if I was actually in that situation. Sooo… sequel time? Or maybe an epilogue. An epilogue would be nice.
So I guess what I’m getting to is how do you guys not feel lonely? How do you feel that happy, fulfilling feeling all the time?

lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, agender and ALLIES. nothing else :D
I find this odd actually. It could just be google showing me what it thinks I want to see, but whenever the acronym comes up it is always defined as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning, intersex, and allies/asexual (I think many people group agender as part of trans). Maybe it’s just a difference in the definition? Though hopefully aromatic will someday join the allies/asexual people under A.

Being aroace especially, I find that my friendships and family matter a lot to me to a level of love, even if it’s platonic or familial. Alternatively, if it’s not romantic and it’s not necessarily platonic either, you might be feeling alterous attraction.

I headcanon the gay Will Grayson (for lack of better identification) in Will Grayson, Will Grayson as aro. While he does get into a relationship, he seems to not have many romantic feelings and much of his focus is just on his desire for sex. While he might not be full aro, I think he’s probably at least grayro.

1. I had a squish I thought was a crush.
2. I still imagine myself in a romantic relationship with him when I feel lonely.
3. I can get jealous of my friends in romantic relationships.
