Like Hemogoblin said, a qpr is a qpr because you've decided that that's what you want it to be. I -- or anyone else on this server -- can't tell you what is or isn't one. However, I can tell you that if you do want it to be one, you should bring it up with your friend, and see what he thinks. Communicate what you want, and your worries and fears about him getting tired of it, and even that you're not sure how to begin. He might not know either, but he'll at least be able to help, most likely

I wouldn't say it's intruding in their relationship, but it really depends on your personal definition of a QPP. For me, I wouldn't do it because my personal definition of a QPR is an exclusive relationship, but that might be totally different from you. If you do decide to ask, I would see how both she AND her girlfriend feel about it, as some alloros might think of it as cheating if you're doing it behind their backs. And definitely make sure you have a definition of QPRs in general handy, and YOUR definition of a QPR extra-extra defined and clear, and explain exactly what it would mean. And I would follow @hemogoblin's advice to feel it out first before even bringing it up in the first place

Gahhhh I have a test tomorrow (that I'm currently Not studying for), a demo (like a test but worth less) on Monday, another test on Tuesday, and a final test on Wednesday. After weeks of not having a test. Oh, and then my two-page paper that I've barely started is due on the 27th, and the book report I haven't even started reading the book for is due on the 24th. I hate school

Edit: I forgot, I also have a presentation in Drama on the 23rd

Edit after looking at the Portuguese aromantic Wikipedia page (which is really good, from what I can see): maybe if there are any aros who speak Portuguese here they can help translate the page into English? There is also a French aro page, an Italian aro page, a Hungarian aro page, a Romanian aro page, a Simple English aro page (not sure how to translate that to normal Wikipedia English though), a Finnish aro page (although it seems a bit light on sources and mostly uses AVEN as a resource), and a Czech aro page, if anyone speaks any of those languages.

If I found a QPR or friend who wanted to, 100% absolutely. It would be convenient, have legal advantages, and tie us together in a way that would be really great for me (since I have a bit of a fear of abandonment). Only if we'd talked it through first though, and I wouldn't want a wedding (too romantic-coded). Ideally we would exchange rings, sign the paperwork, and live together, and that would be that
