I have no idea. Either I had formed a memory block because it was so traumatising, or people usually have enough sense to not kiss me without permission.

Neglect such as not looking after a child, especially tending to needs and letting them die, is a form of abuse and in many contexts is illegal. Relationship neglect however isn't, but some forms are still considered abuse. For marriages, types of neglect as well as desertion can be taken as grounds for divorce in some areas.
