Sometimes I Wish I was Just Gay

I think the title kinda explains it mostly.

I always knew I was Ace. It was really simple for me to figure out, I have the horniest friends known to mankind so it was really obvious when I didn’t feel the same way as they did.

But being Aro? That was a whole other cliff. I denied it for the longest time,but now I’ve come to terms with my full identity. But sometimes I really wish I was just attracted to the opposite gender instead. My parents are really accepting of the LGB part but not the TQ+ part. I don’t know how I’ll ever explain to them that they’ll never have grandchildren. That they won’t have a son or daughter or child in law. To them, that’s a death sentence. I just want to live my life, I am out to pretty much everyone in my life except for them and I want to come out but it’s not safe, nor will they take it well.

Bit of a rant, I just didn’t know where else to go with this. I’m not trying to offend someone with these feelings, it’s just how I currently feel about myself.

On another note, does anyone here know of any good places to buy pride related things? I’ve spent so long going through Etsy and Amazon and they don’t really have things I would be interested in.

What kind of pride things are you looking for? Do you have an idea? Just wondering because there's a lot of different kinds of stuff on etsy and amazon, so knowing what you're after could help us make better suggestions.

I really like jewelry, stickers, and clothes. I’ve since found this really cool seller on Etsy that makes butterfly necklaces with the flag colors on them that I’d really like to get, but I’d love to hear any other suggestions!! Nothing too out in the open though. I am so tempted to get a shirt I found that just says “404: Attraction Not Found” but that would out me in an instant lmaoo

I'm so sorry your family doesn't accept you, that's a terrible position to be in. Fingers crossed they'll become more accepting with time, and as the world becomes more accepting.
