But if they like me or ask me out, I don't want to be in a romantic relationship. Like I'd just want to hold hands platonically (my friends and I do this, we're very close) or hug them in a friendly way. Or you simply like being affectionate with your friends- there's nothing wrong with that. Either way you could label it "platonic affection" or similar.
