I feel guilty about masturbation

So, about an hour ago I tried to masturbate for the fourth time I think (so as you can guess I'm quite new to whole concept of girls masturbating)  and I actually enjoyed it this time. I'm also completely clueless of how exactly girls can masturbate (like different ways) as I am a complete beginner at the whole thing. However, I feel extremely guilty because I'm in a relationship at the moment and I shouldn't really be having "sex with myself". I don't know wether I'm being unfaithful to my partner or not by masturbating.

Masturbation isn't sex.  There is nothing wrong with masturbating in private, ever.  Masturbating absolutely is not cheating and anyone who says otherwise has a seriously fucked up idea of monogamy and sex.  If your partner is telling you not to masturbate, that's a huge red flag and possibly a sign of manipulation or abuse.  I would NEVER tell a partner they shouldn't masturbate and if a partner told me not to, I'd probably dump them immediately.  The only person who has any business controlling how and when you masturbate in private is you.

 

As for how to do it, there are websites about that, and I'm not talking about porn.  Some sexual health websites offer tips or tutorials.

You're definitely not being "unfaithful" by masturbating. Masturbating is good for your health, and even good for your sex life. The best way to figure out how to have amazing orgasms with a partner is to first figure out how to have them by yourself! 

 

That said, when you're first learning to masturbate don't worry too much about whether or not you can actually make it to orgasm. It's supposed to be fun, not a task you have to complete! Just figure out what you can do that feels good, and enjoy that as much as you like. Once you get to know what you personally enjoy, it's much easier to reach orgasm - but even then, you don't have to orgasm every time you masturbate.
