Ah what an interesting topic. I'm very into shipping but I guess it depends on a few factors. For example, I don't ever really ship characters in a book but I always ship anime characters. My ships are generally all over the place too, some straight, some gay, some bromances/platonic. I'm not necessarily romance repulsed so I don't really hate canon ships but I usually find them bland or generic. I do have a quite few anti-ships or NoTPs, one in particular that makes me grind my teeth if I even think about it. Sorry for all the fandom slang I'll explain if I need to.

I generally:

• Give strangers the wrong number
• Tell them I have a boyfriend or I'm too busy to be in a relationship
• Immediately put them back into the friendzone

People already know me as someone with 'very high standards' so it doesn't happen very often really, lol. That or I'm just really unappealing...

Getting really irritated when people shipped me with my best friends.

YMBAI you roll your eyes whenever anyone says 'girls and boys can never just be platonic'.

On that note I was talking to my brother and we had a conversation that went something like this.

Him: I wonder if it's weird for [those two] to be friends.

Me: What?? Why would it be weird?

Him: You know, there's always that possibility for them to start dating.

Me: You know you sound ridiculous right.

Him: But it's always the same when a guy and a girl are 'just friends'.

Me: What about a guy and a girl who are friends?

Him: Well... You know...

Me: *facepalm*
