see, i've been wondering the same thing. i grew up completely used to physical affection in a lot of ways (ie hugs, cuddling, holding hands, a smooch on the cheek, things like that) and as such i simply don't view them as romantic activities. i would do everything someone would do as a partner, but i simply consider it being a good friend. i'm actually getting married to another friend (also aro)! i'm excited. but yeah it's just really odd to me, that there's some sort of line where things just become romantic.
