HOW ARE YOU AT THAT MANY POSTS I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND IT

I find it hard enough being friends with my best friend because I feel like she's always going to choose romance over me - so, I understand what you mean OP. 

No matter how close I get to someone, I don't feel like our friendship will last (at least, in terms of really close friends who I can talk to about anything) if they're not aro. I feel too different from them..

When someone asks who you have a crush on and you tell them no one... "Oh come on, you can tell me!" "Ooh I can probably guess who it is!" Do people have to have a crush at every single point in their life?

I remember at a friend's party they went around saying their crush and I just made one up (the kid that everyone wanted to be friends with because he was cool) and then they asked for "second" crushes. Seriously?

Pretty much everyone I'll hang out with at some point will mention a crush, or an ex, and sometimes I'll just have that moment of "woah, I forgot people got those feelings"

I was straight because I'd had a few "crushes" on guys (but I never really had any romantic feelings towards them or whatever, so I'm not sure).

And if so - why? Are you grey-aro and you felt romantically attracted to them, were you just confused about your feelings, did you just want to "fit in"? I'm just interested in your experiences with romantic relationships. If you haven't - did you ever feel different because of it?

I've never been in a relationship before and always felt "left out"... It wasn't too bad when I was younger (primary school) because most people weren't in one but as I got into secondary and people started dating, particularly my friends... Even though most my friends now aren't in a relationship, they'll still go on about their crushes, or their ex(s), or the "perfect guy"... I hate it, really.
