Maybe just by mentioning that they're aroallo, and explaining what that is, and then never having the character get into a romantic relationship. And maybe the character then gets into a QPR, and the show explains what that is

I think you should evaluate the depth of your crush. If it seems like it will pass soon, then you don't need to tell Jake, it just seems like it will hurt your friendship. However, if it seems like something that will result in your friendship being hurt regardless (if it feels big enough to last, and deep enough that it will be hard to hide), I think you should tell him before your friendship gets too serious, so you can deal with it without him feeling like you kept this giant secret from him

I can't think of anything major, but maybe just correcting anyone who assumes that "aspec" means asexuality and asexuality alone, and not making jokes about your lack of sexual attraction in aro spaces. And not doing the whole "ewwwww sex? Anyone who likes that must be really gross" thing that's pretty common in general aspec areas (although I haven't seen any of that here on Arocalypse luckily, so thanks! Keep doing good 👍)

I think I was born like this, but environmental factors definitely played a part in both my finding out about it, and my accepting it so quickly. If I'd found out about it in a different stage of my life (aka after amatonormativity started to be a bigger part of my life) I probably wouldn't have accepted being aro so quickly and painlessly
