POSTPONED Toronto Aces & Aros Pre-pride hangout & sign-making! (No ASL)

Update: Pre-pride hangout & sign-making social POSTPONED to in person location at later date.

When: Saturday June 22nd, 2024  1:30 pm -4:30 pm(ish)

• In the event of rain, we’ll send out a message through TA&A socials and the meetup will be virtual.

Meet at High Park Ave and Bloor St W. (at the SW corner of that intersection)

• Note: High Park Ave. turns into Colborne Lodge Dr. on the south side.
• Ennis & Breanna will wait on the South West corner by the park until some people arrive. 

After that the group will go a very short distance into High Park and find a good place to set up.

What: Social to make signs for the next weekend’s Toronto Trans March, Dyke March and main Pride Parade. You can also work on your own pride Looks or just come and hang out :)

(Non-ace/non-aro friends, allies, etc. are welcome!)

• People are also welcome to carry signs from previous years during these marches– please have a look! (most of these are still available)

Accessibility:

• There’s a paved path in, and then a very short bit of even gravel/dirt path until the nearest picnic table.
• There are gendered wheelchair accessible washrooms
• Masks are welcome but not mandatory
• Unfortunately, ASL interpretation is not available

To Bring

• Some sign making supplies will be provided, but more are welcome (H2O proof ones recommended– note: even permanent markers, including sharpies *will* run in rain or from water-shooter water)
• Craft clothes & sign ideas :)
• Sunscreen, sun protection, water
• Optional: Drinks & snacks
