So, I have a question. I think I'm demiromantic, but there's one thing I'm not sure of: when it comes to a demiromantic person in general, how strong does the emotional connection have to be, OR does it depend on the individual themself how strong it has to be? Can it be just plain friendship, or does it have to be completely emotional?

I think it all depends on how you feel. Labels are really fluid, so you can use it to mean whichever applies to you is that's a label you feel comfortable with.
