Knowing her, the phobia of apples will probably be gone by morning. And I'm not planning on telling you any of mine either.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal here too. We made her put on her seatbelt when we noticed. And the apples are probably a passing fear. She's consistently afraid of fire though. I mean, that's definitely reasonable, to an extent, but she's afraid to the extent where she refuses to enter the kitchen when the stove's on.

It's not a rational fear at all. We pointed out everything you said @Zemaddog, and it didn't help at all; she just kept freaking out. Not that I don't have my share of completely irrational fears.

So my sister found out that apple seeds contain a minuscule amount of cyanide and started freaking out that she was going to die from eating apples because they had touched the seeds. She then started screaming to get the apples away and that she wasn't going to eat any because she didn't want to die, even though no one even had any apples, let alone were trying to make her eat them. Note that this happened while we were on the freeway and she wasn't wearing her seatbelt
