  1. I’m trans masculine non-binary. I’m not sure about ever changing my name but it is feminine and I’ve been trying to think of possible options. I have always liked the name Jamie and it is unisex. I’m looking for a more unisex or masculine name. All my siblings and I have names that start with “J” and I want to keep that too. Anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks!

  2. I haven’t been dressing androgynous for too long but I tend to go a bit more on the masculine side since I’m AFAB. I like doing a more masculine button down open with a feminine top under it. I once did an outfit with a black babydoll like dress with leggings and a oversized men’s sweater over top with chunky shoes. I just try to balance the feminine and masculine things in the outfit to how I’m feeling.

  3. So I’ve been questioning my gender for a little bit. I think I might be Demi girl or agender or something like that. I’m AFAB and I feel more connected to other women than men but also, I don’t really feel like a woman. I’m just a person. I like dressing/looking androgynous but there are times I like being femme. I want to get a binder sometime soon but sports bras work okay. Having a flat chest makes me happy. I don’t mind she/her pronouns but I really like they/them too. How do you bring up new pronouns to people you know? I don’t think I could tell many people but a few though. I’ve never came out to anyone in person. I told my three friends about being aro ace in text. The idea of telling someone is scary but also I’m starting to feel tired of hiding myself and letting people assume I’m cis and straight.

  4. I don’t have much advice because I am in a similar position. I am AFAB and have always identified as such. But, I’ve realized I like being/looking androgynous and I kind of like they/them pronouns. Am I demigirl? A cis woman with a more androgynous gender expression? I’m not sure.

You can try things out and see how they make you feel. Pronouns, clothes, etc.

  5. There are a lot of romantic songs I like. I’m obsessed with ABBA so any of their romantic songs like Honey Honey, My Love My Life, and SOS. Chiquitita doesn’t seem overly romantic to me, more like someone comforting another.

Whenever, Wherever by Shakira is definitely meant to be romantic but I like to think of it as about friendship long distance.

  6. Luckily I never felt pressured to date in high school despite most of my friends dating. There would occasionally be a third wheel situation but those might have been the only times I felt different from my friends. I had one guy I said I would date if I were to pick someone but I didn’t want to ruin our friendship.

Apparently a guy told the whole soccer team that he had a crush on me and I didn’t hear about it till about a year later. Nothing ever happened with that.

  7. That is frustrating. I’m hard of hearing and have an auditory processing disorder so I use captions most of the time. The amount of stuff that is paraphrased, cut out, and changed from the audio drives me crazy. Sometimes the meaning is still there, they just reworded it and other times they change what was said enough that the meaning is different. And I’m watching original English audio with English captions so there is no translation needed.

  8. A couple years ago I had a dream that my family was making me marry some guy. I remember the whole dream how upset and angry I was. Obviously being forced to marry someone would be upsetting for anyone but, I think it was more about having to get married. Also, my actual family doesn’t pressure me into dating or anything so it wasn’t based on real fears.

  9. I don’t necessarily hate it but I don’t like it either. Single sounds like you’re still looking for a partner and I don’t want people to think that. I haven’t really had anyone ask me for my relationship status for a long time so I don’t know what I’d say. “I’m a single Pringle who does not wish to mingle.” ?
