  1. Interesting topic idea. :D

    - I've never had a squish.

    - I'm not a big fan of romance, but there are several romantic stories I enjoy.

    - I'm really curious about romance (and sexual attraction.)

    - Maybe it's internalized arophobia, but i still have trouble with the thought of being single forever. No matter that I know that relationships come in a million different flavors, I still have this idea inside my mind that unless I find a monogamous, romantic partner, I will be forever alone.

    - I'm not sure I want to be forever alone.

    - Then again, I don't really see myself being able to trust another person enough to be in a QPR with them.

-I haven't had ice cream in a long time.

MINE LIKES ROMANTIC PERIOD DRAMAS. I HATE THEM SO MUCH, SOMETIMES EVEN SOMEONE DRESSED IN A CERTAIN PERIOD'S ATTIRE MAKES ME CRINGE

I LIKE HISTORICAL COSTUMES SO THOSE ARE FINE. AT LEAST AESTHETICALLY THOUGH OFTEN THE MOVIES ARE CRAP. :P

THAT ONE IS PARTICULARLY FUN IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY DEFENDED THAT FILM

    THAT DOES SOUND ANNOYING.

THIS HAPPENS A LOT WITH KIDS' MOVIES.

"CAN YOU PEOPLE NOT LIKE PEOPLE AS JUST FRIENDS WHAT"

    It's confusing...

The amount of times I've said I liked someone for people to think I meant it as a crush... no... >.<

"You should meet my friend, I really like him."
    "OOH YOU LIKE HIM!!!!"

    and so on. :P

I agree, I have such a hard time understanding how a person's mind goes from friend to dating.

Right now me and my friends are trying to figure out one of our friend's crush... He's had like 5 crushes since September

    just

    how

    I don't get it

One of my friends is constantly getting crushes on his female friends too. All the time, with our mutual friends, it's like "oh she's so smart and wonderful I really like her!" and I'm just like WTF. :P

  7. The city I live in already has both but definitely a metro because only having one metro line is ridiculous and I wish they would have a broader reach.

Go a month without a computer or a cellphone?

  8. AUSTRALIA'S SONG WAS A FAIRLY TYPICAL BALLAD BUT SHE HAD SUCH AN AMAZING VOICE.

HONESTLY, I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF A BALLAD'S SUCCESS IS JUST THE TALENT OF THE SINGER. BECAUSE THERE WERE A FEW SINGERS THERE WHO COULD HAVE PULLED OFF A PARTY POP SONG BUT DEFINITELY COULD NOT PULL OFF A BALLAD.

  10. Today my mother said that my friend "clearly doesn't form strong connections" because she's basically poly and then I pointed out that I was talking about friendships, not romance (and also that poly people can form close connections because duh) and then she basically stated that "people don't ever form close connections with friends."

And that apparently being close to friends is "weird" and ugh so wrong.

  11. Had a fun college event, just realized how many people I knew there. And I realized that everyone here is just as confused as I am even if it sometimes seems like I'm the only one who doesn't understand a certain subject.
