I think it does have a big impact since it can make relationships difficult, and sex is at least as much everywhere in society as romantic love. The two are probably not comparable 😅
Arriving late to the discussion here but I agree with this, as a 41yo married aroace, being ace affects your relationships, even the ones that work well. I'd say being ace has caused me more difficulties, but truly being aro has also been difficult, somewhat in a more subtle way. I met my husband when I was 22, he was and is my best friend. I knew it was either him or being alone which I didn't think I could do.
