I realized/finally admitted I was aromantic last year. Still figuring where I am on the ace spectrum; I go by greysexual, generally.

I think people are born with certain tendencies. Whether or not they get activated depends on a lot of factors. I've never understood love in general, so I never got into romantic love.

I have a general rule of "sex only in the background" for my campaigns, although that's partly due to not wanting to hear my players' sexual RPing under ANY circumstances. I've never attempted to include romance, mainly because I have no idea how to write a believable story.

I've posted about it; mostly just talk about people feeling rushed into relationships and people staying in bad relationships. Aromanticism hasn't come up yet; don't know if I'll bring it up.

I've never known what I wanted. I experience sexual desire, but don't feel the need (or really the want) to be in a relationship with other people. The whole dating game just baffles me, and even the whole "friends with benefits" is beyond me. At least there's porn.

Yeah, that's me. Never had any friendships past the casual level. Got used to being alone - mostly.

Companionship and emotional support would be nice, but I don't know how to offer those myself, so how can I ask others to?

Same feeling here. I'm used to being alone, but sometimes I get lonely. (I've never been good at making friends, either.) The idea of romance still baffles me, but when I see people who are genuinely happy together, I wish I had what they do.

I had crushes as a teenager...or at least that's what I called them. Not certain what they were, 20 years later. None of them ever went anywhere.

Still learning all the categories and subcategories. Doubt there's much nit-picking, though; the field is still in development.

After nearly 40 years, I've finally admitted it: I don't believe in love. I think it exists somewhere, but I don't know what it feels like, myself. Doesn't change anything; still as single as I've ever been. Or does it?

So what now?
