Confused about gender

Question

A while ago I started questioning my gender. The thing is, I've been really struggling to tell what gender is supposed to feel like. I don't feel dysphoria when I'm being referred to as my AGAB, but it doesn't really feel good, either? I feel this same sense of apathy towards all gender expressions, honestly. I wouldn't care if I woke up in the body of the "opposite" gender, although I think it would be nice to wake up in a gender neutral body.

Recently when people have been referring to me as a girl or a woman (I'm AFAB for context), it doesn't necessarily feel uncomfortable but I have this weird knee jerk reaction? I don't mind it but also it just feels a little bit strange.

Everyone I've asked (which is, admittedly, very few people) seems to consider their gender in opposition to whichever one they're not, but I still don't know what this is supposed to mean.

I have no idea what this means in terms of gender, and I'm not sure if I'm just cis and confused but I would really appreciate any answers.

Those all seem like pretty common feelings among agender people. I don't feel any dysphoria when being gendered as my gender assigned at birth, and I also feel like if I woke up in the body of the opposite gender I would be fine and just live my life as a man.

I guess you might want to keep reflecting on what makes you uncomfortable or dysphoric about your gender, and what might make you feel gender euphoria. Labels can be helpful, but you don't have to label your gender either!
