"Describe your perfect date" schoolwork help!

Hi guys, i am in urgent need of help

i have to draw and describe my perfect date for class tomorrow, how would you guys go about solving this task!

I dont want to come out to my class, thats too weird and complicated, but i also dont want to lie...

im tempted to just describe the perfect hang-out or some other platonic version of a date, but i am desperate for your input!!!

What a weird assignment 🤔

Just to make it easy I would take one of your hobbies and just add a +1. Like to run? Add another person and bam you can call it a running date. I think you can apply this to most anything and focusing on the hobby aspect will give you something relatable to talk about.

my question is why is there an assignment thats concerning dating being assigned 😭 ???what

i'd say to do something that you'd very much like to do with a friend as a hangout. ngl they can be the best kinda dates, platonic ones :] even irl!

I’d rebel. Completely flip the assignment on the teacher and ask why are we doing this? There is no point to an assignment like that. I’d write a whole essay as to why this should not matter. I’d mentioned how not everyone prioritizes dating or wants to dates. Many people wouldn’t know where to begin with dating and we should have to prioritize an assignment towards dating. You could just go off on how this doesn’t make sense and write, again, how not everyone cares about dating! Aromantic or not. This is just what I would. If not that, just write about a date with a platonic friend.

im just gonna describe a fun platonic hangout i guess.

for context this is for german class (my 3rd language), so its not untypical to have to describe random and trivial stuff, its not like i have to write an essay or anything. but still i do find it kinda annoying that i have to jump through hoops just to do my homework

I'm a bit late to this, sorry but if this sort of thing comes up again here's some advice.

your teacher doesn't (lets face it shouldnt) care about what you personally think is a perfect date. they want good language skills, can you write about something coherently, do you get language right. depending on the level this is the stuff I was always got marked on.

* have you got accents right (missing letter eyes?  umlauts)

* have you capitalised correctly, esp nouns for german

* remember not to misgender the park bench/table/chocolate/etc

and write a decent length piece of work. sure its not an essay but the one thing i always remember from when i was at school was a teacher saying to the class. 'the french are capable of using more than one paragraph you know'.
