Need to make some aro connections

So I’m new on this forum, I’m really looking to make some one on one connections with other aromantic people, as I don’t know anybody else in real life who is. Even the local discord for LGBTQ+ people where I live has absolutely no aromantic people, no matter how many times I’ve reached out. Only asexual people. 
 

I’d really just like to make some online friends I can talk to, just to know I’m not alone and I can speak to people one on one about how I feel, just so I feel validated. I feel like the only aromantic person where I live, honestly. Sometimes even in the whole world.

I have yet to (knowingly) meet another aro IRL. We seem to be a rare sort indeed.

You mentioned a discord server. Have you ever looked into "The Aro & Ace Café"? It's a global community, very active and has a significant aro population. If you're looking for some light socialisation, I can send you an invite link (or you can find it via a google search. I'm not sure about forum rules here regarding sharing links to discord servers etc.)
