Hi!

I'm Elco, a 27 years old (as of writing, I unfortunately tend to increase my age on a yearly basis) AroAce.

I've come here looking to make some new acquaintances and maybe learn a bit more about the aromantic-spectrum in the progress.

While I had been questioning my romantic orientation for about two years up until recently, I'm now comfortable enough in calling myself aro that I'm now trying to see how that understanding will/won't impact my life and perspectives. (For additional context: I was having serious difficulties separating sensual, aesthetic and romantic attractions, so it took me a while to "prove the absence/negative" and actually develop a model of attraction that let me draw some workable conclusions.)

Hi welcome!! I relate to your situation a lot, but even now I have a hard time differentiating between the types of attraction. 😅 I hope you find everything you are looking for here on Arocalypse!
