This goes two ways: what's ur type but it's for squishes, qprs, and other aro relationships, OR responses to "wHaTs uR tYpE????"

I tend to like feminine men, but I will go outside that "type" if someone is especially cool.

Honestly? I have no clue anymore lmao. I do know that I like masculine people usually regardless of gender (I feel attraction more instantaneously towards men and non-binary people that are masc, and only sometimes with masc women), but it doesn't mean femininity isn't attractive to me. I think when it comes to someone being feminine, I have a higher chance of feeling attracted to them if they have this bigger than life attitude. But, even then finding them hot in any sense is not guaranteed and usually I would just find them aesthetically pleasing.

I don't really have a type appearance wise, but I do have a type personality wise (it's just really difficult to try and explain in writing)

As for answers to the dreaded question, usually I just say "no" :)

I mean, in theory, anyone. In practice, no one.

To be honest, I did used to have a pretty specific type. But over the years, I kind of grew to forget about it since I don’t really think about finding partners all that often. Before I found out I was aromantic, I thought I was just a very picky person with a very specific, very detailed type that was very rare to find. (Which looking back just sounds like excuses lol)

Anyways, I made a mental note in my head of all the things that I liked or could like in a person. These were like things I had previously either found attractive or pleasing about a person. This was at a time where I found out I was asexual so for me, the characteristics were more rooted in personality than looks.

I knew I like intelligence so that was a must. I wanted to be deep conversations with each other where we’d challenge each other’s opinions. I also knew I liked it when people were patience, understanding, and good at communicating. Patience and good at communicating was a must for me because I had a hard time doing those things myself. Of course, I wanted them to be respectful not just towards me but others as well. I know there were some other things on that list but I really don’t remember. It was a while ago when I made it and, again, I don’t really seek out people after coming to terms with my aromanticism.

I will say though that my one that I had, checked off every single thing on my list to a T. I was so shocked and so surprised. I was starting to think that my standards were too high. But then I found him and liked him for years until we went our separate ways. It interesting to see that that kind of guy exists. I really thought that he didn’t exist. But maybe that says more about men than me lol 😅

An unpopular type would be comic sans. 😼

But my type would at least be somebody I know well and grown close, even intimate, to.

Thinking more in terms of what friends I'd prefer, I love people who are confident in themselves, and have interesting or weird hobbies that make them unique and really fun to learn about. I love listening more than talking, so I love people who will go on and on about whatever they're super interested in.

Also Jessica Rabbit. That's my second type.
