My Letter to Certain People

I'm gonna say something that needs to be said.

If you voted for Trump, if you support him in any way, if you voted 3rd party, if you were able to vote but didn't, I will forever hate you. I cannot put into words how much I despise you. You voted against my rights and the rights of millions of other people. You voted to end democracy. You voted for trans kids to kill themselves en masse. You voted for at LEAST 15 million people to be deported and brutally separated from their families. You voted for women to die because they cannot get proper healthcare. You voted for the military to be used on our OWN people. You voted for people to be imprisoned simply for respecting a trans kid's preferred name and pronouns. You voted for the very existence of queer people to be classified as "pornography" and outlawed. You voted for prices to rise and for families to become impoverished. You voted for small businesses to close down and for people to become unemployed and likely homeless. You voted to end medicare, medicaid, disability, and social security coverage for millions of people. You voted to end religious freedom for non-Christian people. You voted for Christianity to be forced down people throats. You voted for church and state to be combined. You voted for fascism. You voted for suffering, unjustified imprisonment, brutality, and death. You should be ashamed of yourself. You should hate yourself as much as I hate you. I along with many others will never forgive you for this. You are partially responsible for all of this. Never forget that. You are a disgusting person. Yes, I'm being mean. But it's justified. You people lost your privilege to be treated with respect when you voted for all of this. You lost your privilege to be treated like a human being. That is something that is earned, and you sure as hell did not earn it. 

And if you didn't vote for Trump, and rather voted for a 3rd party, or could vote and just didn't, you are complacent. You are complacent and thus still partially responsible in everything and more I said above. So this is directed at you too. Shame on you all.

Honestly, this kind of anger is understandable, but it’s also not going to change anyone’s mind. People double down when they feel attacked. If you want to hold others accountable or make a point, it helps to come from a place of facts and dialogue, not just hate.

Nah I don't owe that to those people. They don't deserve my kindness and patience.
