The Newest Fabled Creature Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) That's tricky, since I only ever used the SAM model for splitting romantic orientation from sexuality (which, despite me being aroallo, I don't really do that anymore and just say I'm aromantic with no differentiation; so, basically, I'm a non-SAM aro). I haven't used SAM for tertiary attractions, though I'm pretty sure those are included or have been used on the model anyway. I'm guessing that if you don't apply the SAM model to your own experiences then you can be non-SAM despite experiencing complex and differing forms of attraction that an outside individual would argue are "split attractions." Like, I'll talk about experiencing my sexual attraction all day, and call myself aroallo for the most part because of it, but I don't consciously think I'm aroallo but instead I just simply think I'm aro. TL;DR: I don't fully know what I'm saying since I haven't dived too deeply into the SAM model nor split attractions all too much, but I would assume that yes you can be non-SAM bi-alterous.
