Trumps Been Elected...What Do I Do??

I can't believe I'm about to witness my country devolve into a Christian nationalist and fascistic dictatorship. I am only 15, I have to suffer through at least 3 years of this starting in January, and even then Trump may make it harder for me to leave if I wanted to.

I don't know what to do. I want to engage in leftist organization so badly, but I live in a small, conservative, Christian, and ignorant town. My parents are MAGA cultists, and it just isn't safe for me to organize, nor do I see a realistic way for me to be able to do so. I want to help, but I can't.

It looks like, in all reality, I may be in a position where I have to begin assimilating in order to survive. I have to pretend to be a cishet Christian able-bodied neurotypical man in order to get by. That Is what seems most realistic at his time. 

If anyone has any suggestions on how I can survive a MAGA-run America, please let me know. If anyone knows ways that I can safely (or at least safely-ish) maintain my identity in these times given my circumstances, also please let me know.

I'm scared, I'm sad, I'm mourning, I'm angry. I haven't even gully processed yet. The future is so uncertain for me and millions of people, and I hate that so much.

Edit 2: This is probably not your only option. Don’t be afraid, and don’t take drastic measures at least quite yet! Your world may fall apart yes, but it also may not. Be open minded and think about all options, even ones that may seem a bit stupid

That’s quite the quagmire… I really want to help you, but there really isn’t much I can think of. Your parents (so far as I can tell from your description) wouldn’t allow you out of their control, and being a minor you can’t really run away because you can’t really do much without an adult. Too, certainly an amber alert would go out about you. You could dye your hair, cut it, and put some makeup on your face, but that’s not a great disguise if you aren’t experienced. If you had a friend who’s parents would harbor you then it’s actually viable, but I’m not certain whether you would want to take such drastic action nor weather you actually had a friend who would do that for you. The thing is that even then any friend that would assist you is likely nearby which means you would not actually be escaping the culture that you are so fearful of, should they be out of that and in an entirely different area it might be difficult to get to them. Even through all that that's not entirely unheard of. I could go into more detail, but that may be a mere bore considering all the factors needed to even make said I remotely possible. As I said though, this is kind of drastic measure, but I see no other way personally. I would see if anybody else has any ideas.

 

Edit: I totally feel you though… I’m not sure what I want to do about my situation concerning this either.

Hey, just wanted to say that Republicans are fucking stupid!! I truly cannot stand them! I live in a red state, and I have never been around more hateful and uneducated people in my life. Like cheaper groceries was enough for you to overlook the irreparable damage and hate that is going to affect people’s day-to-day life?!?! I can’t stand these people!!! These people and their ignorance!!! Like people really see immigrants as just illegals. That is so dehumanizing!! They truly don’t care what happens them, they just want them gone. That is so dangerous to think about. I will NEVER FORGIVE any Trump voters, Trumps supporters, people who didn’t vote, and people who voted for a third party. Cause now look at where we are at!!!
 

You can say I’m being harsh, but these people don’t deserve peace. I don’t talk to anyone where I’ll and I will continue to do so unless they are an ally. I am so disappointed in America and so many don’t even think they did wrong!! I fucking hate these people! This country is so fucked and it’s their faults. They really don’t care about others. Just themselves. They don’t care about POC, LGBTQIA+ people, immigrants, or women. Just themselves. But it’s okay, because guess who also doesn’t care about the people and just themselves? TRUMP!
 

I swear, he only cares about himself and his other rich white male billionaire friends. All these tariffs, cutting social security, jobs, and the Affordable Care Act will only benefit him. Leading to him getting more money. I He doesn’t not care about America. Let alone making it great again. News flash, it never was!! I cannot wait to see all these MAGA voters start working jobs that immigrants usually worked. I can’t wait to see the look on people faces when they realized the voted against their own interest. Every person who is in a marginalized community that voted for Trump are gonna fucking get it now. I’m not even mad, honestly. Can’t wait to see y’all suffer. Unfortunately, everyone else will have to suffer with you!

I feel that way about Trump voters, supporters, those who voted 3rd party, and those who could have but didn't. I have nothing but fiery rage for those people. I intend on brutally rubbing it in their faces when the Trump dictatorship starts. I will make sure they know how much I despise them. I will also never forgive them. They lost their privilege of being treated like decent human beings after they voted for a man who will give a fascist dictatorship grip over this nation. They voted for a man who will oppress minorities with horrible legislation, likely using brutal military force to maintain that. 5% of the American population will be deported, at LEAST 15 million people. Queer, POC, women's, and religious minority rights will be maliciously assaulted. Anything left of our democracy WILL be gone, our constitution WILL be irrelevant. Trump will do what he did last time; he will do what he wants under executive orders and let the Supreme Court, dominated by MAGA extremists, deal with it later. He will also enact Schedule F as soon as possible, reclassifying thousands of government workers so they can be fired and replaced by Trump when and where he wants to. And, with a GOP trifecta about to dominate the government, this can happen. He will be able to take over the whole government with his like-minded goons and then pass whatever policies he wants, which would be Project 2025. It's especially likely considering he has put 6 people in the government openly affiliated with Project 2025, and his own Agenda 47 is basically the same as Project 2025. 

I am also angry towards the Project 2025 deniers everywhere in the nation. Not to the same extent that I am angry with the people I mentioned above, but still angry nonetheless. It's so simple. All they have to do is actually consider what I said above, look into the overwhelming evidence that Trump is linked to Project 2025 and that it's likely to happen given the fact there is practically no safe guards and little resistance in the government at this point, and stop listening to the false hope propaganda the is infesting the media. That's it. These people are remaining willfully ignorant to the fact that the remaining fragments of American democracy will be gone, most likey before the 4 years are even up. Fascist dictatorships arise quickly, after all. And I'm so tired of the "OH WELL THE CONSTITUTION SAYS" argument because it is literally a piece of paper that a far-right wannabe dictator couldn't give two shits about. Also, Germany had a constitution before the Nazis took power, do these people honestly think the Nazis followed the German constitution? Hell no! Trump will do the same! He will disregard the constitution and do whatever is happy orange ass pleases. 

This isn't me saying we should have zero hope. This is not me fearmongering and saying we will be stuck in this place forever. After all, Germany escaped the Nazis, Italy survived Mussolini, Spain survived Franco, Chile survived Pinochet, and many other places I probably missed. We must resist. We must not give in. It will be rough, it will be miserable, but we can get out of it like many other nations have. We can do this, whether it is 4 years or 40 years, we can get out of this fascist mess we are about to go through. We cannot lose that kind of hope. People will likely be imprisoned, rights will be stripped, and some may die. But we CAN do it. Do not let those people go in vain. Do not let out ancestors go in vain. Do not let the fascists control the future of the next generation. We can, and will, get out of this.
