Aug 9th) to share your feedback and help us plan stuff. 2) A general planning/organising meeting & social -- ASL in progress Sunday, August 11th, 2024 (2-4:30pm) 519 Church St., room 304 This is the space for you if you'd like to learn more about what goes on "behind the scenes" and get more involved to: plan & host regular activities or special events share your thoughts/feedback/input for future activities & events facilitate workshop or other educational activities develop educational materials, etc. Even if you're just interested in knowing what's been going on, please join us! (open to everyone under the aromantic/aro umbrella and/or asexual/ace umbrella and people questioning whether they might be one or both-- people don't have to have attended any previous events to attend!) Accessibility: the 519 has a large ramp to enter, power doors and elevator inside, accessible all-gender washrooms near Wellesley station which has an elevator we ask everyone not communicating by ASL to wear a mask (masks provided if needed) 3) Speed-friending at Christie Pitts Park (RSVP required) -- ASL in progress Sunday, August 25th, 2024 (4-6:30pm) (In case of rain, this event will be rescheduled on Sept.15th) Christie Pits Park, 750 Bloor St West, Toronto more detailed meet-up instructions will be shared closer to the event Come join us for a structured, in-person speed-friending event to get to know other ace, aro spec, and/or questioning folks in the local community. (Note: this is not a dating event) RSVP: While there is not a limit to how many people can attend, we do need to prepare materials in advance. Please RSVP before August 23rd. You will receive an email confirmation within a week of completing the form. Accessibility: ASL interpreters is in progress. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you require ASL interpretation. We will likely be sitting on the grass but can arrange for some chairs for people who require them. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you need a chair.
