I had a really fun art class today, have been really productive and had very interesting conversations with this old woman. I don't even care that I was stuck in holiday traffic for way too long.

I don't want to raise kids and I don't think my romantic orientation has influenced that. My reasons for not wanting to raise kids don't really have to do with me being aro. I would like to raise a dog though

I was hanging out with my best friend today eating ice cream when she asked if I had a boyfriend I just said no, she said she didn't either and I just told her that I'm not even interested and she totally understood it and said she felt the same way. I don't know if she's aro spec or something or if she isn't interested in getting a boyfriend for other reasons, but I'm just so happy because she is the first person in my life who seems to understand and feels a similar way. It was the first time that I could talk to someone about how annoyed I am by people expecting me to get into a romantic relationship. I never realized how much I actually needed a friendship like this until today. I've literally sat here crying happy tears for the past two hours (since I arrived home) Oh and the ice cream was great too

EXACTLY! I attend those classes to get professional feedback on my work because I need to get together a good portfolio for my uni application. It's all to get accepted to a good uni and make my dreams come true, but I guess my dad thinks boys are the only thing that's on a girls mind when she's my age and single...

I JUST GOT MY TOEFL SCORES AND I WAS HONESTLY NOT SURE IF I COULD GET THOSE 90 POINTS THAT I NEEDED AND I SURELY DIDN'T EXPECT TO GET OVER 100 POINTS, BUT THAT'S MY TERRIBLE SELF-EVALUATION... ANYWAY I GOT 101 POINTS AND NOW SUPER HAPPY NOW I'M GOING TO CELEBRATE WITH ICE CREAM, HOT CHOCOLATE AND A MOVIE WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IN THIS COUNTRY IS GETTING COMPLETELY DRUNK (WE HAVE SOME WEIRD HOLIDAY TODAY)

My parents were going to some kind of party yesterday and they asked me if I wanted to come too. And when I said no my dad had to tell me "but there are going to be lots of boys!". He always uses that as his reasons why I should go somewhere... And once I picked me up from this art school I went to and when he saw that there wasn't a single boy in the class, he asked me why I'd go there if I can't meet any cute boys there anyway. Saying I'm annoyed would be an understatement

I don't get when people are flirting either... Unless it's suuuuuper obvious, but most times I don't notice until someone mentions it. The confusing thing to me though is, that apparently for flirting you don't need to be nice? I know guys who were really rude to me and everyone told me afterwards that they were flirting. It simply doesn't make sense to me at all, it's so confusing

I'm taking the TOEFL tomorrow and I just did another practice test and got a result that I'm happy with. The speaking section still sucks, but I mangaged to get 100% in the listening section! Rain is amazing! It makes me happy too. I just really love the smell of rain and how fresh and clean the air is.
