Oh man, I've always found that kind of unsettling. Little girls only a few years old are already being given baby dolls and having to act like mothers? It's creepy, the way from such a young age people are already teaching them to grow up and take care of kids because that's what girls are for, apparently?

I've never had this thankfully... It sounds so awkward and not really a great way to start a relationship off imo. Asking someone out should be a private, one on one conversation - I really don't get the point of asking in front of a group? (well... I suppose because then you might not want to say no....) Not quite the same, but I have had a guy ask me out when he was out my house (he'd already asked a couple of times anyway, I'd said no) and my mum overheard... >.>

I still don't really know if I've had crushes, I spent a long time wanting a relationship, I don't really relate to the term squish? Whilst my "crushes" were more like squishes, they were barely anything and I was completely fine not being friends with that person so it doesn't feel like a squish... -

Right now me and my friends are trying to figure out one of our friend's crush... He's had like 5 crushes since September just how I don't get it I'm really hoping they don't ask me about crushes

Whilst I thought I had crushes (just squishes really) I didn't feel like I wanted to date them, and when my friends went on about their crushes my feelings felt so different. I also never understood why they were upset when they asked them out and got rejected, I thought it'd be great to just be friends with my "crushes" Oh, and people seemed to always have crushes. I had like 3 noticeable squishes throughout school, every seemed to have at least one crush at any point in their life. People often thought I was lying when I said I didn't have a crush.

I don't, but if I was living with an (aro) friend who wanted kids and for me to help out... I probably could. Doubt I'll ever choose to raise them myself, though. I don't think I ever wanted kids, even before I realised I was aro so... I don't think it has too much of an effect?

I've got this placement thing for the summer (with gravitational waves research) and today I went to meet the people I'll be working with and discussing a bit more about what I was doing. I was pretty nervous because I didn't know what they were gonna be like or what they were gonna ask me... But it went really well! They were all very friendly, gave me some ideas about what I'll be doing, it's going to be pretty casual (meaning I don't have to wear a dress which was honestly one of the biggest things I was worrying about) and they don't seem really strict on what hours I'm doing (good because of how far I'm travelling and the train times)
