I keep forgetting that the two girls i meet on a daily basis are dating. like not in a bad way of "oh i don't believe girls can date!" but rather they just vibe so hard i keep gravitating to the thought of "what a dynamic!" because my brain hasn't entirely seen any "traditional" romantic things like kissing happen, so i keep being a bit surprised every time they mention dating because to me they're just so chill together and nothing like what i see on TV when people are dating in media

honestly i struggle enough with platonic goings as is, can't imagine struggling with romance as well

i think it's nice to have the freedom of not thinking about crushes or whatever. i like independance

Yeah, pretty much. not that i hate romance or anything (I'm a sucker at watching fictional couples fall in love) but I haven't pictured myself in an IRL one at all. I'm quite content with having platonic friends my whole life. Sometimes (even now) I wonder if this sentiment will change (it hasn't yet) but whatever happens, I do intend to have a solidified group of friends

i treat valentine's day normally, but there's absolutely nothing that beats my film studies teacher calling small heart candies "crystal meth"

i hate cliches but if it's a well developed romance that goes beyond

i got my invisalign off after 3 years of wearing them non-stop!!!

i also got a nice card with congratulations and i also got gum, microwave popcorn, and skittles. (I'm mostly happy they gave me a food gift)

i had my picture taken for Instagram too (dw i consented all was fine) so it really gave what at first was a slightly painful removal of the attachments a sense of occasion (otherwise i'd have found it boring considering they did an x-ray and images of my mouth)

ya boi is on retainers for what i think is the rest of my life but it's not too bad bc now i can eat anything without any plastic mouth covers getting in the way
