  1. Confused. Because I don't feel like describing other types of attraction would change something in the way I'm seeing various things, while being aromantic does.
  2. I know well how do you feel. In "Boruto" they're randomly additioning anime canons with lot of unnecessary romantic plots. There are a lot of things to serve instead of it. So many things that weren't explained or just to animate what they dropped in manga. But no, they're doing the cheapest and worst possible thing.
  3. Currently, I'm playing Doki Doki Literature Club the most.
  4. It's "using someone" as much as going to the bakery to buy a loaf of bread.
  5. It's name of the character from "Danganronpa" I kin with.
  6. Eida: "Jigen's an exception. I couldn't steal his heart"

  7. And aros who just don't feel the need of labeling their sexual orientation.
  8. Same. I'm not sure about being allosexual, but… ugh. It's still annoying.
  9. Why they never think about us. Or if they include aro, they put us together with aces.
  10. Tell them that you aren't a fictional character and "shipping" you is invading your personal space.
  11. This, because there are other kinds of attraction, too. There will be difference between alloaro and aroace. Aplaro and allopl aro, etc, etc. There are many things that are making it impossible to create an aro representation that could make everyone feel "oh, that's about me". Not saying about the fact that we're talking about fiction and fiction doesn't need to follow reality.
  12. Yea, I decided that three characters in my fanfic are alloaro. I can see people trying to complain about how I wrote them.
  13. Kawaki from "Boruto" seems to be romance repulsed aromantic. When Shikamaru confirmed he has to play nice to the girl which fell in love with him, he said: "I'd much rather throw myself at Code". Code and Kawaki hate each other since they were kids.
  14. I remember they were looking for volunteers and I don't have more informations.
  15. If I remember it well, the surveys take place once each two years.
  16. It can be simply mentioned that a character is alloaro. It's not needed for them to have sex on screen. I'll give you a different example. It was revealed that Orochimaru is nonbinary, we didn't see them having struggles about trying to get who are they. It was just a random situation when their son asked: "where should I write your name? As a mother or a father?"
  17. I made both main characters of my fanfic being alloaro. And I'm going to add one more.

@whatistheromance, in the beginning just only one of them was to be alloaro xD But I changed my mind. The second character just realized it was sexual attraction all the time.

  18. I was obviously born aromantic, just I didn't have possibility to discover my orientation earlier. When I was 13, nobody was talking even about it, it was unknown. Or you were hetero, or bi, or homo. There weren't other options considered.
  19. In my case it depens a lot of relationships. When I was in a qpr with someone and this person did something behind my back, I turned romance repulsed for several months. If not longer. And I keep being somewhere in between indifferent and repulsed at this moment.
  20. "Romance positive/neutral/negative" is about your attitude towards romance in general. The term you're looking for is "romance favorable". My favorite fandom activity is shipping. I'm an active fanfic writer. I'm romance ambivalent and it's a weird thing to experience. Very, very weird. For the most time I'm indifferent, but if something happens, I can turn romo favorable or romo repulsed – it's my case.
  21. I have an "imaginary" relationship with several fictional characters. The "imaginary" relationships don't make anyone "less" aromantic + there are still aros who want to be in a relationship (for example, the ones who are cupioromantic). Being aro is just about attraction and not what you imagine or do.
