  1. I've been replaying Skyrim for the third time, this time focusing more on the thieves guild questline. I've also been playing The Last Guardian, Greedfall, God Of War, and Arkham Knight when my mom isn't binge playing Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. And I've been replaying Twilight Princess on the Wii, mostly because I never finished it all those years ago before my first Wii console broke. I still am yet to find Skyward Sword so I can finish that one too.
  2. ...yes... I did identify as panromantic for a while, but It never felt quite right. I'm still, to some extent, open to romantic relationships regardless of gender, and in the beginning, I took that as being panromantic, it never had anything to do with attraction.
  3. Hoodie (This word works for both the denotative and connotative meanings of 'closet' when you hate your chest.)
  4. Kind of? I like a few, but I have a hard time listening to people talk most of the time. I find it hard to pay attention unless I'm in the right mood. TPBM has had a pet other than a cat or dog.
  5. There wasn't really a set point in time where I figured it out, since I had been questioning my (at the time) panromantic label for a few weeks before. I had considered that I might be aro at the same time I thought I might be ace, but the fact that I still was interested in relationship with people kind of threw me off. It felt like it described me, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it wasn't romantic attraction that I felt, it was more like queerplatonic attraction than anything. There was a specific moment that I finally accepted the aromantic label though. It was the first snow of the year and seeing it outside my window was pretty inspirational, so I decided to write up a song. I generally do a lot of absent thinking while I write songs, and I had been debating whether I was aro or not the night before, but by the time I finished that song, I was sure that I was. And I just remember feeling so satisfied with that conclusion, more than I ever had with thinking I was panro.
  6. This is a sign of a good writer. Someone who puts their ideas in their writing in hopes of bettering at least one person's life with something they need, rather than pleasing the crowds with what they want.
  7. False, because I have a few different book series that tie for the place of "Favorite." TPBM speaks multiple languages.
  8. Never liked that song much either, but this new cover by Bear Ghost actually makes me kind of like it. Still don't care for the lyrics, but this is more interesting to listen to, plus I just love Bear Ghost. That's always been my favorite, that and A Mad Russian's Christmas, also by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I got to play it at a Christmas concert once and that only made me love it more because it's a lot of fun to play.
  9. Commercialism (sorry, but that was the first thing that came to mind.)
  10. YES! I always hated how the Disney princesses would let love shroud their better judgement, so the villains were my favorite, since they didn't let that kind of thing stop them from plotting their evil plans. Plus they're way more interesting. In Snow White, for example, the Evil Queen hates Snow White, and that lets you wonder why she hates her, but Snow White's defining character trait is that she wants a happily ever after. That's it. No wondering about that, just a straightforward hope of romance, and that always seemed rather bland to me, since it's not even a goal, it's a hopeful dream. To be fair, the Evil Queen isn't very interesting either, but she's far more interesting than Snow. Snow White is my mom's favorite Disney princess, just ahead of Aurora, and I still don't know why she would choose her over the really cool princesses like Merida Rapunzel or Tiana. Those have always been my favorite Princesses, mostly because they were a huge part of my childhood, but also because they weren't set on a specific dream of romance, instead Rapunzel and Tiana had non romantic goals that they worked hard and took risks to achieve and Merida was a badass that didn't want to get married like everyone want her to. These princesses reflected my values and some of my interests as a kid, but I never understood what values anyone could find so interesting in a character like Snow White. Also, Merida is Aro and no one can change my mind. Probably not ace though.
  11. No, I used to be able to, but that was like five years ago and I forgot how to fold them... TPBM likes classical music.
  12. To say yes would be an understatement. Creative writing is one of my favorite things! Only a hobby at this point though, mostly fiction and the occasional play script or so. TPBM has been in a cave.
  13. It's really up to you what you decide to do next, but if you think you might actually want to try a relationship with this person, go ahead. If you don't, there's no use trying to force yourself into it. You could even bring up the option of a queerplatonic relationship (QPR) if you think that would be best. And as for telling them about your aroness, that's not entirely necessary, but if you choose to be in a relationship with them, then telling them would be a good thing to do at the beginning, rather than later on. Just remember that you don't have to be attracted to someone romantically in order to be in a relationship with them, so long as you both understand and respect each other's limits and boundaries. I hope this helps a bit!
