  2. next person wins a boomerang. sorry, no you don't, it came back to me. hang on, you'll win it this time nope.. came back to me again guess you dont get anything
  3. I still find this sort of thing amusing. I think i've mentioned before about the other things i watch/read/listen to without it impacting my ideas of identity. enjoying that sort of media doesnt have to do with my ideas on romance any more than thinking the soviet national anthem is an absolute banger defines my politics. or for another example, that my enjoyment of horror relates to what i actually want to do to clueless teenagers in real life.
  4. Cheers people for spotting that User SydneyDouglas banned Apologies for taking way too long on that one
  5. i remember a doctor expressing his surprise at how healthy my grandad was given he was over 100, and we had to correct him (and the records) which had him confused with his dad, who had died over a decade earlier.
  6. i forgot he used that. you wouldnt have to be hardcore, but all the custom emojis would be put behind a paywall. and trump would have an arocalypse account.
  7. sometimes useful things come through the admin email. sometimes people use it for getting in touch for things like account deletion and other practical things and other times, i get sent things like this: one more to add to the junk filter. probobly the oddest sales pitch that has crept through since i took over.
  8. in theory, nothing if you get a particular rank you should get a frog badge to go with it, just because that seems nice. whether ive got things working exactly right with that is another question.
  9. not sure I suppose you could just go for it, only thing is if you are not willing to be open about your identity to some people that would make being aro open and attached to your name/whatever other info you put on there. viewable by basically anyone. If thats fine with you then may as well go for it, i agree with @nonmerci, it might help keep away people you might not want as flatmates.
  10. I find most pet names quite disappointing. When I was young there was a friend of my mums who would refer to pretty much everyone as 'me duck' or 'duck'. (For those outside the UK, this is a fairly common pet name used by people in the North of England and I haven't a clue why) Honestly no pet name can come close to being as good as being called duck.
