@comedyofaros I hope they figure things out! Keep in mind that even if you are friends with both of them, it's not your job to figure things out for them. That's a good thing, because you can't really figure things out for them.

I don't understand why someone would WANT a crush on someone else. I mean, it's one thing if they happen to have a crush on someone, but why would someone think "I don't have a crush on this person, but I wish I did"?? I always worry that someone is going to ask me on a date and I won't know they are asking me on a date. Why won't people SAY if it's a date so I can avoid dates?

I don't understand how as soon as two people get into a relationship, the way they act around each other changes dramatically. I don't understand why cheating is such a big deal. I don't understand why it can break up an otherwise strong and healthy relationship. I mean, if that was all it took for people to break up, how strong was the relationship really? I get the trust thing, but other violations of trust don't seem to cause people to break up as much. But apparently cheating is a HUGE deal for romantic people. I'm sure it makes sense to them, but it sure doesn't make sense to me!
