I'm glad I found such a large an active place about aromanticity. I'll probably just lurk around a lot. I'm sick of people talking about gooey romance. I'm sick of it in the media. I'm sick of hearing it from my friends. I am sick of people wanting romantic relationships from me (twenty something guy who told me, an 18yo, how he was looking for a long term special relationship and "something more" ten mins after meeting me and getting my number, WHAT'S UP?) I just am sick of it. So here I be.
